Sekolah Bali Q_Ta Students Learn About Aloe Vera at PT Alove Bali
Learning beyond the classroom came to life when students from Sekolah Bali Q_Ta visited PT Alove Bali to explore how Aloe Vera is grown, cared for, and transformed into everyday natural products.
The visit introduced students to Aloe Vera farming, organic practices, and how natural products are made responsibly. It was designed to support learning beyond the classroom while helping students understand sustainability, health, and local agriculture.
Learning Aloe Vera From the Source
On Monday, October 27, 29 Grade 6 students visited PT Alove Bali. A second group of 25 Grade 5 students followed on Wednesday, October 29. Both visits began at 9:00 AM with a short introduction from the Alove Bali team.
Students learned what Aloe Vera is, why it is widely used, and how proper farming methods affect quality and safety. The session focused on simple explanations that matched the students’ age and learning level.
Visiting Our Organic Aloe Vera Plantation
The students explored our certified organic Aloe Vera plantation and learned about:
- How Aloe Vera is planted and maintained
- The role of soil quality and water management
- Why Bali’s volcanic soil supports healthy plant growth
- How organic farming protects the environment
Seeing the plantation firsthand helped students understand that agriculture requires care, consistency, and responsibility.
From Aloe Vera Plant to Finished Product
After the plantation tour, students visited our processing facility. Here, they learned how freshly harvested Aloe Vera leaves are handled and processed safely.
Our team explained:
- Proper harvesting techniques that protect the plant
- Processing methods that help preserve nutrients
- Why certified organic standards matter
- How hygiene and quality control are maintained
Students were interested to see how Aloe Vera becomes products they recognize, such as Aloe Vera gel, beverages, and skincare ingredients.
Hands On Learning Outside the Classroom
The visit was interactive and engaging. Students were able to touch Aloe Vera leaves, feel the gel, and ask questions directly to the team.
Many were surprised by how versatile Aloe Vera is and how one plant can support health, wellness, and everyday products. This hands on experience helped connect classroom learning with real world applications.
